Sharon Elaine Porter Mitchell was born on November 24, 1951 in Dallas, Texas. As the Matriarch of her family, she taught her children about God, the values of hard work, family, and courage to take on challenges, the importance of laughter and unconditional love for one another.
Sharon is survived by her 4 children and their spouses, 10 grandchildern and long time friend Eula. Sharon was a mother, a grandmother, a mother in law, a sister, a aunt, a friend.
Sharon was born into this world a shining bright light. Sharon was a very spiritual person and old soul. As commanding protector and lover of her family she always put God first. Her greatest strength is the love for her family and friends which still resonates in all of us today.
