Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God has laid, you see. I took His hand when I heard His call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found the peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts, and peace to thee. God wanted me now, He set me free.This memorial was created to remember our dearest Sharon Porter Mitchell who was born in Dallas, Texas on November 24, 1951 and passed away on January 21, 2016 in Houston, Texas. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Saturday, January 30,2016 at 4:00 pm, Bibleway Missionary Baptist Church, 1415 Cushing Street, Houston, Texas 77019."She has better view of me prospering God has crowned a very special angel, and I know she will look over the family. She has made a very big impact on my life by teaching me almost everything I know. One thing I learned is to always pray to God in every situation, good or bad.
